Dear Monomoy Middle School Families,
The upcoming week will mark the end of quarter one. With a building filled with staff and students who show up every day with the energy of the start of a school year, it is hard to imagine that we are nearly a quarter through. We hope to keep the momentum as we roll into the second quarter. The quarter will officially close on Tuesday and quarter 2 classes will start on Wednesday. The highest impact is on the UA rotation as students enrolled in quarter long UAs will move on to new classes. Student schedules can be viewed by both families and students themselves in Aspen.
Here's to a great second quarter!
In partnership,
Abby Dudley
Principal

OLD NEWS AND REMINDERS
Clubs Ending: Please be aware that our fall club session will end on 11/17. We will continue to have the library open for before and after school academic help each day with the exception of Friday afternoons.
Bike and Scooter Riders: If your child rides a bike or scooter to school, please review the following expectations with them as we want to ensure that all children are arriving and departing from school safely. All bikes and scooters need to be placed on a bike rack. These are located outside the 5th grade entrance and outside of Ms. Cortese's room in the back loop. When departing school, please walk your bike or scooter until you are safely away from traffic and off the school property. Thank you for keeping everyone safe.
Lost and Found: Thanks to all students for spending the time collecting your items from lost and found this week prior to donation!
