Dear Parsons Families,

Wow! Didn't our Parsons students sound magical on Monday night? It was so wonderful to see all of you and finally be able to gather together to enjoy the beauty of the season! We have had a very busy December at Parsons. We will finish our last week of the year by enjoying Cookies with Santa, shopping at Santa's Shop, showing all of our Parsons pride during Spirit Week, and celebrating together. My wish for you is a Winter Break filled with all the love, family, and friendship that the season brings. Hopefully, it includes lots of fun but also relaxation. I know we have all earned it! Happy Holidays!

If you are planning on volunteering for your child's holiday party, please ensure that you have a current background check on file. You do have to complete a background check every year. No background checks will be run on the day of the parties, December 22nd.

On the last day of school, students will participate in the PBIS reward party for the month of December. Our 5th Grade team has planned a great event for positive behavior. Students have the opportunity to purchase concessions to eat during the movie. This is a fundraiser for 5th Grade camp. Please see Mr. Putek's note below. It is coming home backpack mail today, December 16th, and is due Monday, December 19th

Calling all Artists! Art Club has been extremely popular at Parsons. A letter to sign up will go home on Monday, January 9th. It is first come, first serve and the club is capped at 25 students per grade level band. Here are the dates Art Club will meet.

February 2,9,16

February Art Show - 23

2nd and 3rd Grade - Right after school until 5

4th and 5th Grade - 5:30 - 7.
