BLIZZARD 2026

Dear Parish Families,

Just a quick note to let you know that due to the upcoming blizzard, Religious Education classes are cancelled for our Sunday, February 22, Monday, February 23, and Tuesday, February 24 sessions. Safety first! ❄️

We will be open for Sunday Mass. If you are able, we encourage you to attend (only if it is safe to travel).

When you’re snowed in, here’s a simple “mini faith moment” for the day:

• Say one short prayer together (“Jesus, we trust in You.”)

• Read the Sunday Gospel (attached below) or watch the Sunday Children's Video below.

• Offer one kind “Lenten” act at home (helping without being asked 😉)

We look forward to seeing everyone at our next scheduled class on Sunday, March 1, Monday, March 2, and Tuesday, March 3.

Our snow day is a perfect opportunity to review your child’s textbook together, revisit a few key lessons, and reinforce the daily practice of our faith through prayer, kindness, and talking about how we can follow Jesus at home.

Any further updates will be shared through parish email and posted on the parish website. Grade 8 students, your saint reports are now due on March 2, please.

Stay warm and safe,
