David’s View: Onward & Upward 2026
Welcome! To all our returning families, welcome back—and to those joining us for the first time, welcome home! We’re excited to kick off the 2026–2027 season with renewed energy, purpose, and excitement for what lies ahead.
I don’t know about you, but I’m still riding high on the momentum from this summer, as our long-course performances reached new heights. As a staff, we’re energized by the opportunities this next chapter holds, and we’re ready to move onward and upward—together.
At the heart of everything we do are NOVA’s core values: accountability, sportsmanship, success, growth, and unity. Now is the time to get focused, dig deep, and work together toward our shared goals.
Being part of NOVA means being part of something bigger than yourself. Whether you are a returning family or new to the program, you are now part of the NOVA family—a community built on shared commitment, mutual support, and the belief that we are stronger together. Every swimmer, parent, coach, and volunteer plays an important role in what makes NOVA special.
Growth starts with embracing the process. We ask our swimmers to commit—to every lap in practice, every week in the water, every race, and every experience with their training group. These moments build the foundation for success both in and out of the pool. Along the way, our athletes will learn to become comfortable with discomfort, finding strength in their struggles and discovering that real growth comes from consistent effort.
The Regency facility has been transformative for our swimmers and has opened new possibilities for their futures. NOVA has a proud tradition of paying it forward, made possible by the generosity and commitment of those who came before us. That tradition continues with each new generation of swimmers and families who choose to invest in one another and in the future of our program.
Our shared commitment and our “we before me” mindset have helped NOVA reach heights few programs in the country can match. But what makes NOVA truly special isn’t simply what we accomplish in the pool—it’s how we accomplish it together.
I’m so looking forward to making this year even better than the last. Let’s challenge ourselves, support one another, and continue building something special.
Onward and upward, together!
NOVASTRONG!

NOVA Board of Directors Application
NOVA is governed by a volunteer board of directors. We are looking for volunteers to join our Board of Directors effective February 1, 2027. As we embark on the next phase of facility construction and continue our growth as an organization, an engaged active board is key to maintaining our progress.
If you are interested in contributing your time, skills and passion, please consider submitting an application by September 15 by clicking HERE. Volunteering on the NOVA Board is a three-year term and will allow you to play a key role in shaping NOVA's future. We rely on the support of our families to make this possible.
Thank you for considering volunteering on the NOVA Board of Directors.

NOVA 2026-2027 Meet and Practice Schedules
In order to help with planning for the coming 2026- 2027 season here are the practice and meet schedules, these are tentative and subject to change.
2026-2027 Short Course Practice Schedule- August 31- March 28
2026-2027 Short Course Meet Schedule- This includes specific group schedules and a master schedule for the whole team
Parent Meetings
While coaches and swimmers interact daily throughout the season, coaches and parents have far fewer opportunities to connect. One of the most important opportunities for communication is the parent meeting. These meetings give coaches a chance to share the group’s goals and expectations for the season, while also providing parents with an opportunity to ask questions, gain insight, and better understand how they can support their swimmer’s experience..
Each group has a meeting. If you can not make the meeting your swimmer's coach will share the documents discussed, and you are encouraged to email any questions or concerns.
Unless otherwise noted, meetings will be held in the Community Room on the second floor at NOVA-Regency. We look forward to kicking off a great season together!
Please plan to attend your swimmer’s group meeting:
