Economic Disasters, Hard Times & Power to the People

In this workshop students are beginning to learn economic principles and foundations. We will move forward from that and start investigating how different economic disasters in the United States started and how they affected the people. For each disaster, we spend time researching how the people respond, including the art associated with the response) and the power that involved citizens have.

Film Studies

Students dove into the history of film this first week! We learned about how the medium of film was created and looked into different eras of film history. We will continue to look at the art and science of movie making in hopes of having great discussions about movies both new and old.
