Dear Banks Families:

Thank you for taking a moment to review the final edition of the Banks Bulletin newsletter for the 2024-2025 school year. Our students and staff are buzzing with energy as we head into the final stretch! I'd like to take a moment to thank our incredible parent community for your ongoing support. Your partnership has been essential in helping our students thrive. It has been a tremendous school year and it fills my heart with pride and joy when I think of all that we accomplished together. Our future is full of promise, and together, we’ll continue to build on our successes.

We are looking forward to honoring our 8th grade students with a special celebration on Friday, June 10th, beginning with at 8:20 AM and hope families are able to join us for this wonderful occasion. Important details are provided below.

It is hard to believe the 8th grade D.C. Trip will be held next week. A new link has been shared below for families to access a shared photo drive to follow our adventures. Check it out! Please refer to the information provided below, and if you have any questions about the DC trip, please reach out to Mr. Morrow at DavidMorrow@wlcsd.org.

Important News for 7th Grade Families

Attention prospective National Junior Honors Society (NJHS) students and parents: Banks is proud to announce that applications for NJHS will open in the fall of the 2025-2026 school year. This is a slight deviation from past practices as middle school redistricting takes place. The idea is that all students being placed into a new school will have time to settle in before we begin the NJHS application process. Look for information and application forms in September of 2025.
