Hours for Front Office and Administrative Staff Effective Monday, June 22:

*Please note: Construction projects at CHS this summer include renovations to the front lobby and work on the HVAC system. Accordingly, there may be limited access to the front doors.

Due to the HVAC work in the building, the gym area will not be accessible to students and staff over the summer. This includes the main gym, auxiliary gym, locker rooms, and as of now, the weight room. If you need to reach the AAM, Becky Clark, please email rebecca_clark@hcpss.org or enter through the front of the building and go to the front office. Do not enter through the gym doors.

Boosters Camps will be held outside, as well as in the Burleigh Manor Middle School gym.

Student Services is CLOSED on Fridays in the month of July (July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31).

Transcripts for the Class of 2026 have been finalized, uploaded to Naviance, and sent to the college each senior indicated they would attend when completing the Naviance Senior Graduation Survey in May.

If a graduate needs to change the college they plan to attend, please contact chsregistrars@hcpss.org as soon as possible.

A copy of each senior's unofficial transcript is now available in Synergy under More Options.

We will be hosting make-up final exams on the following days this summer:

• June 30
• July 14
• August 4

Exams will be administered between 8 AM and 1 PM.

Class of '27 Rising Seniors! We are so excited to announce that you can now schedule your senior portrait photo session with Legacy Studios, who is our official photographer for your formal school photos. This is also the picture that will be used in your 2026-2027 yearbook!

Photo session dates currently open are: August 14, 17, and 18, 2026. Portrait sessions will take place in the Dance Studio, which is room 801.

Did you purchase a yearbook for the 2025-26 school year? Wondering when you will get your yearbook?

The final touches, including graduation pictures are being done right now. Yearbooks ordered for the 2025-256school year will be delivered as follows:

• Seniors (Class of 2026) - Yearbooks will be mailed to your homes if that was the delivery option you selected. All other senior yearbooks will be available for pick up at Homecoming, October 10.
• Underclasses - Yearbooks will be distributed at Homecoming, October 10.

Homecoming 2026 will be on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

2026 marks the 50th anniversary of our school! Stay tuned for more details...we have so much to celebrate!

HCPSS will offer its free summer meal program weekdays June 24-July 31 (except July 3) from 12:30 PM to 2 PM at locations across Howard County.

Open to all HCPSS students and any children ages 18 and under, there are no applications, enrollment or fees to participate in this program, however children must be present to receive free meals. Free meals also will be provided to all students participating in HCPSS summer programs.

Dear Class of 2029 Parents/Guardians,

The Class of 2029 needs your help to kick off our fundraising efforts for the 2026-27 school year.

Beginning July 1st, we will be accepting donations to help support event planning for the class. Donation incentives include Class of 2029 pajama pants and/or hoodie!
