OAE Parent/Carer Bulletin
Exceptional Education at the Heart of Enfield

Monday 22nd September 2025
Principal Surgeries
Principal's Surgeries offer an opportunity to meet with Mrs Robinson in person, as we continue to commit to making OAE the heart of the local community, and an academy are all proud to call home.
This is a strategy that will ensure that, OAE is communicating our vision and standards well and that we are listening to and acting on feedback. We are keen to discuss the academy experience and the quality of education we provide.
Individual achievement and progress will not be discussed via the surgeries. If you wish to discuss this, outside of the formal parent events, please contact your child's Head of Year.
Our Principal’s Surgeries will take place on Friday mornings, from 9.30-10.30am and start from Friday 17th October, whereby a 20-minute appointment time will be allocated. Appointments must be made in advance, by contacting the academy on info@oasisenfield.org in advance.

Green Flag Awards 2025
A massive well done to our Eco-Club members, whose passion and dedication have driven real change. You are the heartbeat of this movement—a generation of young environmental leaders making a lasting impact.
Special congratulations to Ms Silva, our Eco Champion. Your guidance, energy, and unwavering belief in our mission have inspired us all. This achievement is as much yours as it is ours.
Let’s keep the momentum going. The Green Flag is not the finish line—it’s the launchpad for even greater things.
Bertha Earth Programme
The Bertha Earth Programme is an environmental initiative to nurture environmental leadership, storytelling, well-being, includes immersive nature days, in-school workshops, a residential retreat during the month of May 2026 for a week.
The aim is to build confidence, creativity, and a sense of connection to both self and planet, our year 7 will be the next young environmental ambassadors.
DofE Silver expedition
Year 11 students are embarking on their DofE Silver expedition with a camping trip in Edmonton. During this journey, they will test their teamwork, resilience, and navigation skills.
They will carry their own equipment and set up camp together, which will teach them valuable lessons in independence and problem-solving. Despite the physical demands, the experience promises to be both rewarding and memorable.
Trainer donation to Students of OAE
If any parent/carers or students have old trainers—adult or children's sizes—that are no longer needed, we in the PE department would be incredibly grateful to receive them. These donations will go directly to support students who do not have suitable footwear for PE lessons.
Whether it's a pair gathering dust at home or shoes your children have outgrown, every contribution helps ensure all students can participate safely and comfortably. Thank you, Ms Cotter, Head of PE
Nut Free Academy
Please be reminded that under no circumstances should nuts or any food containing nuts be bought into the academy.
The academy is a nut free school, and we have students with severe life-threatening nut allergies.
Attendance
The Academy attendance target is 96%. We are currently at 92.3%. Your support in ensuring that you child attends school everyday is essential in securing success for them. Every day missed, means that opportunities to learn are missed and the chance of success is reduced.

Our Ethos at Oasis Academy Enfield
Our ethos is rooted in what we believe and who we are. Grounded in our story, it is an expression of our character; a set of values that inform and provide the lens on everything we do.
- A passion to include
- A desire to treat people equally respecting differences
- A commitment to healthy, open relationships
- A deep sense of hope that things can change and be transformed
- A sense of perseverance to keep going for the long haul
It is these ethos values that we want to be known for and to live by. We are committed to a model of inclusion, equality, healthy relationships, hope, and perseverance throughout all the aspects of the life and culture of every Oasis Hub and academy community.
We encourage every member of our family, be that staff or student, to align themselves to these ethos values. The values themselves are inspired by the life, message and example of Jesus but we make it clear that we will not impose on anyone, the beliefs that underpin our ethos values. We recognise and celebrate the richness that spiritual and cultural diversity brings to our community, respecting the beliefs and practices of other faiths in the hope that we will provide a welcoming environment for all.
