Welcome Back to all our new and returning students and families. We can't wait for the new school year to begin in our new building. Our new PreK Center is almost ready for opening. The construction crew is finishing up some last minute details and the custodians are working diligently to be sure the school is shiny, clean and ready for students and staff!
Welcome Back letters were mailed out to all families on August 1, 2024. Information included: parent and student orientation dates, tuition agreements, student schedules, teacher name and the first day of school. If you did not receive a letter, please let us know. At this time, it is still best to communicate via email. See contact information below.
In the meantime, we thought it would be a great time to start sharing some important back to school information to our families. Below you will find an aerial map of the Abigail Adams building. As many of you know it is home to many departments aside from the Weymouth Early Childhood Center. The WPS Administration building, Weymouth CFCE and the Adams Academy will also share the space with us.
It is important to note that the preK was designed to be in it's own distinct safety bubble and separate from all other departments and programs. In order to access the WECC, you would need to be let in by a staff member as all doors are locked and secured at all times.
Below you will find an aerial map of the building. In Blue you will see parking for parent drop off and pick up. All students must be walked up to Door #2. Staff members will be out front to meet and greet students and their families. We will have designated staff spots for drop off and pick up.
For those families that may need to use handicap accessible parking spaces, you may park in the front entry parking lot in the designated spaces. A staff member will greet you and your child in the parking lot.
For students that attend via WPS van, you will be greeted by staff members at door #14.
