A Midsummer Night's Dream

Our Fall Play, A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare went so well!!! We want to take a moment to thank the nearly 1000 people who came out to Town Park to brave the heat, chill, stone seating and the onslaught of mosquitos and dragonflies!

We enjoyed theatre and the smell of OFF at the same time as a community and it was beautiful! we also want to take a moment to, once again, thank the Mansfield Commission for the Arts and the Mansfield Parks and Rec Department for being such an integral part of making Shakespeare in the Park a reality!

Fairies and Dragonflies

Saturday's performance was joined by natural fairies! Dragonflies appeared just before the show began, but calmed down after the curtain speech and watched the show!

Shakespeare under the stars

We could not have asked for better weather for Shakespeare in the Park. The rain held off until Sunday so we could complete our run under some wonderfully clear skies.

Why do you love theatre? - It gives me a chance to be loud and overall a bigger person rather than myself. I can be someone I'm not whenever I don't necessarily feel good being me.

What is a favorite experience you can tell us about your involvement with Legacy Theatre?
I'm so happy I can meet new people and become friends with amazing actors/actresses.
