Complete Final Forms For the 2025-2026 School Year
Students will be unable to pick up schedules if they do not have an up-to-date parent/guardian portion of their Final Forms. We can work with students to complete their portion here at school, we just need the parent/guardian portion completed prior to the start of school.
Cell Phone Policy - STATE LAW - No Change for GMS
Unless directed by a staff member, Cell phones and Smart Watches are to remain off and in student lockers upon entering the building and should not be used until after the final dismissal bell and students have exited the classroom. In effect, cell phones should not be “seen, heard, or used” during this time. Also, cell phones should NOT be used to take any type of photograph, video, or recording at any time unless directed by a staff member.
Cell phones should remain in student’s lockers and be turned off during the day. Students cannot contact parents via a personal cell phone during the day; they are to utilize a classroom or office phone. If violations of this policy should occur, then CELL PHONE WILL BE TAKEN AND CAN BE PICKED UP AT THE END OF THE DAY.
1st offense – warning 2nd offense – parent called 3rd offense – detention/parent picks up phone.

Immunizations for Grade 7
Reminder: Information for incoming grade 7 students:
Ohio Law requires that all seventh graders must have received multiple immunizations. Before starting school, students in the 7th grade must have a Tdap (Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis) and a Meningococcal vaccine. Written proof of receiving these vaccinations must be on file in the school office. Students who do not have evidence of proper immunizations will be excluded from school after 14 days, per Ohio Revised Code.
If your doctor says immunization might be harmful to your student, a waiver must be on file. If you object to immunization for good cause, for example religious convictions, a waiver must be on file.
If you need them to be faxed, our Fax number at GMS is 937-663-4674

Stay up-to-date on Student Grades with Progress Book
Frontline Education has released the ProgressBook Parent and Student Mobile App (aka ParentAccess app) to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This app is available for your parents/students to download and use now. For those that choose to download, the app takes the place of the mobile web version of ParentAccess that parents and students have long used. In addition, Frontline has produced an overview video that can be shared with your users (video link is also in the attached instructional sheet).
