Suttons Bay Elementary Newsletter
October 23rd, 2026
Letter from the Principal,
It was a beautiful fall week at Suttons Bay Elementary! Our students had a wonderful week full of learning, fun, and enjoying the beautiful fall weather.
We had so much fun at our PTO sponsored Pumpkin Carving Night! A huge thank you to Taber’s Acres, Jon Richter Farms, and Pahl’s Pumpkin Patch for generously donating pumpkins for our families to carve together. Families enjoyed cider and donuts while spending time together and creating some amazing pumpkin designs!
Thank you to our PTO for making this special evening possible and to all of the families who joined us. We are so grateful for our wonderful Suttons Bay community and the opportunities we have to come together and make memories with our students and families! We hope to see you all next week at our Trunk or Treat event!
Have a wonderful weekend, see you Monday!
If you need anything at all, please feel free to call, text, or email: (231) 534-4439 or wadsworthe@suttonsbayschools.com

Photo packages and pricing will change after retake day, so if you would still like to place an order at the current pricing, please be sure to do so before retake day.
Popcorn is $1 per bag and you can pay each week or you can purchase a Popcorn Pass for the year!
From the Classroom
Math in Action! Mr. Pearson’s 3rd graders used shapes to explore and compare which shapes were bigger. Through this hands on activity, students were building an early understanding of area by thinking about how much space each shape covers.
