WASHINGTON TRIP INFORMATION

Attention CHS 8th Grade Parents,

The deadline for DC student registration is Friday, November 10th by 3:00 p.m. Please register your child online by clicking on the flyer and registration tab below.

All student travelers need to have submitted a completed Overnight Field Trip Permission Form (tab below) and Behavior Contract (tab below) to the main office. Hard copies are available in the office.

Chaperones may also register for the DC trip at this time.

Now, before you all rush to the keyboard let’s take a moment to reflect.

All adults interested in chaperoning must travel with us for the entire trip - no escaping.
Adults will be assigned students to keep track of (attendance) - “Where is Kyle?”
Adults are required to follow the travel schedule we provide - no going rogue.
You get the idea.

If this sounds like a dream come true, feel free to register on the same website you used to register your child. The form below will give you the needed resources and information.

All adults must register as “double occupancy” $1225. Adults will share a room with another chaperone. If you would like a private room please select “single occupancy” $1550. If you want to room with your child both would need to pay for “double occupancy” $1225 each.

Chaperones must register with Academic Expeditions (tab below), pay the deposit, return a completed Criminal History Form (tab below), and complete the Chaperone Guidelines Form (tab below) in order to be added to the trip. Please return forms to the main office. The deadline for adult registration (chaperones) is Friday, November 10th at 3:00 p.m.

Please remember that the Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) insurance ($60) is required - check the box during online registration. You have to complete the Trip Protection Plan Google Form below, in addition to noting it during registration.

Lastly, please note that this is a student based trip and if the buses fill up, priority will be given to student travelers and some adults will be refunded.
