Did you complete your GT training this summer?
ACTION ITEM: GISD COMPLIANCE TRAININGS
Check out the position-based training ‘checklists’ (including recommended pacing and timelines) to support your completion by the assigned deadline!
All Employees - all campus and district personnel will complete these trainings as required by TEA & GISD Board Policy will complete a total of 6 courses (5 hours)
Employees Interacting with Students - employees with daily student interaction will complete a total of 9 courses (6.5 hours)
Employees with Instructional Responsibilities - employees charged with instructional responsibilities will complete a total of 12 courses (8.25 hours)
A note from Jodi Norris (our diagnostician):
Hi,
I am working on the annual ard schedule for the entire year for (Hillside/Kimberlin). ARD days will be on (Tuesdays or Wednesdays/Thursdays). You should receive calendar invites soon.
Just a reminder, I will be inviting the homeroom teacher to the ard. If your team co-teaches and both teachers need to be there, please communicate ahead of time.
All parents will be invited to participate in-person for ARD meetings and the meetings will be conducted in the conference room.

Building Access
The building is accessible Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm.
If you choose to come outside of those hours, you must call GISD security (972-494-8911) to gain authorization to enter.
- As you begin to set up, please refrain from placing unwanted items in the hallway or lounge.
If you have things that really need to go, grab a friend and take it out to the dumpster. - Broken or damaged furniture CAN go into the hallway with a "SALVAGE" sign
- Please do not drag furniture/ across freshly waxed floors.
