Happy Friday, Cedar Creek! 💜💚

My name is Kiley Tenbrink, I am one of the long-term substitutes for Mrs. Ellett. First off, Cedar Creek is such an amazing school! With my first week down, it is so easy to see just how awesome the students, staff, and families are. The support and dedication around the Carnival and fundraiser was so cool to experience! Also, a huge shout out to reaching the goal for Blast Off for CCE! While the weather wasn't what we hopped for today, the kids all still had a blast celebrating with their dance party and snow cones.

This week I was able to see the 4th graders rock out on their recorders and 5th graders on ukulele in music, 3rd graders discussing how illustrations impact a story in Wit & Wisdom, 2nd graders working with place value, and kindergarteners working on the number 9!

Don't forget to continue supporting your kiddos at home with daily reading, practicing for spelling tests, and working on fact fluency! Your support goes a long way in helping our students grow!

Have a wonderful weekend!

⭐ STAR Store Donations Needed! ⭐

Our STAR Store is a BIG hit with our Comets, and we are currently in need of donations to keep our shelves stocked! Our students are especially loving squishy fidgets, stuffed animals, and candy right now.

If you’re able to donate, you can shop directly from our Amazon Wish List or send in any kid-friendly prizes you think our Comets would love. Every donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated and helps keep the STAR Store going!
