Greetings Gosling Families,

I wanted to share a HUGE congratulations to the Class of 2024 for their hard work and dedication toward earning their diplomas. I can’t wait for the graduation ceremony and formally wishing our WHS graduates well as they embark on their future success!

All returning families will receive additional updates during the summer as we gear up for a fantastic 2024-25 school year!

As we head into the summer break, we want to remind you that you will be keeping your Chromebooks over the summer months. This means you will have continued access to educational resources, allowing you to stay connected and engaged in learning opportunities.

It's important to remember to take good care of your Chromebook during this time to ensure it remains in good working condition for the next school year. Here are a few tips to help you maintain your Chromebook:

1. Keep it safe: Avoid dropping or bumping your Chromebook. Use a protective case if possible.

2. Keep it clean: Regularly clean the screen and keyboard with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquids or harsh chemicals.

3. Keep it charged: Charge your Chromebook regularly to ensure it's ready when you need it.

4. Keep it secure: Treat your Chromebook like any other valuable item. Avoid leaving it unattended in public places.

5. Use it responsibly: Follow your school's guidelines for appropriate use of your Chromebook, and remember that it's a tool for learning.

By taking these simple steps, you can help ensure that your Chromebook remains a valuable resource throughout the summer and into the next school year.

Graduation Rehearsal – Friday, June 7th at 10 a.m.

Rehearsal will begin on Friday, June 7th at 10 a.m. All seniors participating in Graduation are REQUIRED to attend Graduation Rehearsal.

Graduation Ceremony – Saturday, June 8th at 10 a.m. in the WHS Field House

• Doors at WHS will open at 8:30 a.m.
  

• Graduates should report to the WHS Peace Garden at 9:15 a.m. for a group picture.

• Graduates will receive their diploma cover when crossing the stage and will receive their diploma in the Peace Garden (weather permitting) immediately after the recessional. Diplomas will NOT be mailed to students, so please don’t forget to pick it up.

• Watertown TV will be live streaming the graduation ceremony on their YouTube Channel: The City of Watertown.

• All obligations (detentions, fees, etc.) must be fulfilled before being able to take part in the Graduation Ceremony.
  
  

Final Transcript Request Form

WHS will host the Class of 2028 Freshmen Experience for all incoming freshman students on Tuesday, August 13th from 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The Freshmen Experience will begin at 8 a.m. in the WHS Commons. The event will provide incoming freshmen with an opportunity to prepare for the transition to high school through sessions designed to introduce students to life as a WHS student.

During the event, incoming freshmen will have an opportunity to get to know their classmates, explore the building, learn important skills to prepare them for the school year, meet WHS faculty, ask questions of current WHS students, run through a mock schedule, and learn more about co-curricular offerings. The event provides the perfect opportunity to jump start your student’s experience at WHS.

• Last Day of School/Early Release: Thursday, June 6
  
• Graduation Practice: Friday, June 7 @ 10 a.m.
• Graduation: Saturday, June 8 @ 10 a.m.
