MIDDLE SCHOOL SOUTH

Happy Snow day to you. Our students have been super excited all week in anticipation of a snow day after the freezing days!

January is the time that school becomes very busy! Please make sure you are reading emails, talking points and newsletters.

Students are registering for next years courses and we have asked for selections to be completed by next Tuesday. This is most important for current 7th graders, but also current 6th grade students opting to take advanced ELA. Please see counselors with questions.

MAP testing will also begin this coming week. This is the final round of MAP testing this school year. These tests provide important data to ensure we are supporting all student needs. As always, please have your chrome books charged daily for school success.

GMSS has only one day of parent/teacher conferences in the second semester. These are invite only and we will be sending out invites by the end of the Month. The conference date is Thursday, February 15th. If we have openings, we will send those out as well!

BUSES

As a reminder, please know the time of your student's bus stop. We are happy to offer Here Comes the Bus as an aide for parents tracking their student's bus, but there may be some times when the app is not exact. We certainly do not want students to miss the bus, so please be sure your student is at their stop at the scheduled time. To remind yourself of your pickup time, visit our Transfinder page.
