Ms. Rob's Ramlings
Oh, the boys bathroom... a yearly struggle in middle school. This is the time of year where the bathroom antics really ramp up. We have clusters of boys going in, things being destroyed, pee ending up in places other than the toilet, and just general disruptive nonsense. While I wish we could afford to have bathroom attendants in all of our restrooms, that is a pipe dream. :) So, we are trying to address this as it comes up and continue to put in more preventative plans. HOWEVER, we could really use your help.
If you have a son here at Perry, this would be a perfect time to talk with them about treating public spaces with respect, letting adults know if they see something amuck, and leaving spaces where others are doing the wrong thing. I often tell students that being a supportive audience to wrongdoing is itself wrong.
All that being said, any family support we can get with this would be much appreciated.
