Principal's Message
Good Evening Weymouth High School Community,
Graduation was a memorable and well-attended celebration as families, friends, faculty, and staff gathered to honor the accomplishments of the Weymouth High School Class of 2026. The ceremony was filled with pride, reflection, and excitement as graduates crossed the stage and marked the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance, and growth. Congratulations to the Class of 2026 and their families on this significant achievement. We wish our graduates continued success as they begin the next chapter of their journey.
The spotlight continues to shine on the Weymouth High Theater Company! We are thrilled to share that their outstanding fall production of “Mean Girls” has earned statewide recognition from the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild. The production received an impressive seven nominations, including the prestigious honor of being named a nominee for Best Overall Production in Massachusetts.
This recognition is a testament to the talent, dedication, and countless hours of work put in by our student performers, crew members, directors, and staff. The awards ceremony will take place on June 8, and the entire Weymouth community is cheering them on. Congratulations on this incredible achievement, and best of luck on awards night!
Congratulations to all of our Wildcat teams who represented Weymouth with pride throughout the State Tournament! While Baseball and Softball saw their impressive seasons come to an end this week, we celebrate their hard work, determination, and outstanding accomplishments.
The excitement continues for Girls Rugby, who have earned a spot in the State Championship game! The Wildcats will take on Belmont in the State Final on June 11 at 4:00 p.m. at Veterans Stadium in Quincy. We encourage the entire Weymouth community to come out, show your Wildcat pride, and cheer on our team as they compete for a state title. Good luck, Wildcats—we'll be rooting for you every step of the way!
Fall Sports Information Night
On Tuesday, June 9th at 5:00 P.M. there will be a mandatory Fall sports information night. Team meetings will follow where individual coaches will provide information on tryouts and
schedules. We are inviting our incoming 9th grade families to join us. This event is mandatory for all candidates intending to try out for a fall program with at least one parent/guardian.
Our fall sports registration is open, please register here. We encourage all families to sign up before the June 9th meeting. The fall season will start August 24th. Try out schedules will be available from each head coach.
There will be a brief sign up and information meeting for any girl interested in running cross country next fall on Thursday June 11th after school in room 216. See Coach Miller if you have any questions
Issues in the bathrooms
We are continuing to experience vandalism in our school bathrooms. This includes dispensers being pulled off the walls, soap being spread around, and items being flushed down toilets, which can damage plumbing and lead to bathroom closures. When this happens, bathrooms may be unavailable until repairs can be completed, which affects all students.
Please take a moment to speak with your child about the importance of taking care of shared spaces. We encourage students to be upstanders—if they see someone damaging property, they should report it to a trusted adult so the issue can be addressed promptly. Thank you for your support in helping us maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone.
The last day of school is June 26, 2026. The last day of classes will be June 22nd and finals will be from June 23rd - 26th.
