What it is...

Gratitude means being aware of and thankful for the good things in your life.

Why it matters...

Research shows that gratitude is the best predictor of a person's well-being. People who posses this character strength have more energy and happiness. Studies also show that the more one practices gratitude, the more grateful he/she becomes!

Upcoming Events/Important Dates- Mark Your Calendar

Knitted November hat and glove drive: Brandon High School Student Council is hosting this month long hat and glove drive. Please drop your donations in the box which will be located by the office.
Beuches receipts: The collection began on Friday, November 15th.
Kroger Rewards: Please see the attachments below.
Thanksgiving Recess: November 27th-Dec 1st. NO SCHOOL.
Winter Festival for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders: On Friday, December 6th, the Brandon High School Student Council will host a Winter Festival for our upper elementary students. Please see the attached flyer for details. Permission slips are due by December 3rd.
Get comfortable for charity: On Tuesday, December 10th, the Brandon School District will be participating in a fundraiser to raise money for the Alliance for the Great Lakes. On this day, students may wear PJ's for a $1 donation to the charity. Donations will be collected by the teachers.
Breakfast with Santa for current and incoming Preschool, JK, and K students: On Saturday, December 14th from 9:00-11:00 AM. See the attached flyer.
Holiday Sing Along- JK-2nd grades on Friday, December 20th at 2:15 in the gym.
