Registration will be done via an online portal at the bottom of this page. Please read all of the information here before registering.

Kindergarten for Current Briarwood Preschoolers

Note: Current preschool students will need to submit updated medical paperwork to the school nurse before the first day of school.

Detailed instructions for filling out our online registration can be found below. Please read them carefully before starting the online registration process. It is important that you include all family contact information, at least two emergency contacts other than a parent, and your child’s doctor, dentist, and hospital if you have one.

• Original Birth Certificate (with seal) - your child must be at least five years old on or before October 1, 2026.
• Parent/Guardian Proof of Identity (verification you are the person listed on the student’s registration paperwork AND the proof of residency)
• Driver's License
• Passport
• Proof of Residency (lease, deed or a notarized statement of residency). Mortgage payments, utility/tax bills will NOT be accepted as proof of residency. Any lease or notarized statement that is submitted must include current lease/rental term agreement dates.
• If you are not the current lease/deed owner please submit a notarized letter from the current owner stating that your family is currently residing at this address
• Immunization Records (signed by a physician or health department official)

Note: Completed Physical and Immunization Forms must be submitted by September 1, 2026 or your child will not be permitted to start school. Physical forms are valid for 365 days.

Kindergarten entrance screenings will be taking place at Briarwood from Tuesday, May 19th through Thursday, May 21st. Please click the link below to schedule your child's screening after they have been fully registered.
