Happy Holidays everyone, only 10 school days left until winter break! Until then, you’ve got a Holiday spirit week, basketball games, and the festive hallway decorations to look forward to. To keep up the holiday cheer, we’ve got a joke for you: What type of cars do elves drive? Toy-otas!

A few weeks ago, our turkey drive raised $232 total. Mr. Barnes, Mr. Hendricks, Mrs. Pizzo, and Mr. Webster raised donations that went towards buying Thanksgiving dinners for families in need. The teachers all worked really hard to get donations, but Mr. Webster was the clear winner, raising over $150 because of his love for turkeys. Sadly, the losing teacher was Mr. Cole. On November 21st, Mr. Webster taught in style in his turkey costume while Mr. Cole rocked the chicken costume. Thank you to all who participated and helped make our first turkey drive such a great success!

From November 1st through November 20th we raised over 600 cans and 300 dollars in our canned food drive. Congrats to the winning first hours, Mr. Hendricks, Ms. Borders, and band, who enjoyed a donut party!
