ROCKET REPORT

Dear Reidville Families,

We hope your family enjoyed a restful and refreshing Fall Break! The weather could not have been ordered any better. It is a great addition to our school calendar this year and I hope that you and your students enjoyed a few days out of school.

RVES will host our annual Curriculum Night this week. We do hope that you and your family will join us on Tuesday night from 5:30-7pm. It is a wonderful night of our families learning together

We are so excited about our upcoming Curriculum Night on October 20th. We hope you can join us.

This Thursday and Friday, we will celebrate our INCREDIBLE KIDS at our quarterly recognition ceremonies! During these special celebrations, we recognize students for the many achievements and accomplishments they have made throughout Quarter 1.

Students will be invited to the stage to receive their STAR pins. These pins are worn on the school lanyards, proudly sponsored by Chadwells Orthodontics, that our students wear each day and serve as a special reminder of their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments.

Two important recognitions included in our celebration are Honor Roll and Perfect Attendance. Being at school every day matters! Regular attendance gives students the opportunity to learn, grow, build relationships, and make the most of every school day. We are proud to celebrate students who earned these distinctions, as reflected on their Quarter 1 report cards.

If your child earned Honor Roll or Perfect Attendance, please know that they will be recognized, and you are welcome to join us for the celebration at the dates and times listed below!

We also have several additional awards that will be presented during these celebrations. Students receiving these special recognitions will bring home a letter on Monday with more details.

We are so proud of our Rockets and the many ways they shine! Thank you for partnering with us as we celebrate their hard work and accomplishments.

4K/5K and 1st grade: Thursday, October 22nd at 9am

2nd grade and 3rd grade; Thursday, October 22nd at 8am

4th grade and 5th grade: Friday, October 23rd at 8:30am

Our book fair starts tomorrow. Our Book Fair will be open from Monday, October 19th through Friday, October 23rd during the school day from 7:45 to 2:30 Monday through Thursday, and on Friday, 7:45 to 2:00.

The Book Fair will be open during Curriculum Night.

Students will visit the book fair during their Media Center Related Arts this week.

Picture Day is coming on Tuesday, October 27!
