Grade 1 Arbor Day
In celebration of Arbor Day, Grade 1 students received tree saplings today! These trees were provided as part of a wonderful program where proceeds from their purchase support a scholarship fund for students pursuing a future in arboriculture. A huge thank you to John Ames, Grounds Specialist for the Town of Easton, for organizing this meaningful event. "Planting a tree today is a gift to the generations of tomorrow."
Grade 3 Wax Museum
This week, our third graders brought history to life with their incredible Wax Museum presentations! Students stepped into the shoes of famous historic figures, dressing the part and sharing fascinating facts about their lives and contributions. From presidents and pioneers to inventors and activists, each student wowed visitors with their knowledge and creativity. It was a wonderful way to “step back in time” and celebrate learning—great job, Grade 3!

- Encouraging students to be curious about themselves and others builds self-confidence and empathy.
- Exposing students to different family structures, cultures, skin colors, abilities and language widens a student's worldview and builds perspective-taking skills.
- Providing children with appropriate language to describe differences and harmful treatment gives children the skills to address issues and create productive dialogue about change
- Helping students understand our country's history and how it impacts people today develops critical thinking skills to identify and deconstruct systems of harm.
- Representation matters
