Eleventh Sunday After Pentecost

Prelude: Total Praise R. Smallwood

Welcome and Announcements

Call to Worship Liturgy by Rev. Sarah Are | A Sanctified Art LLC | sanctifiedart.org.

In worship, we hear God’s story and we ask,

“What did God do long ago?”

In worship, we hear God’s story and ask,

“What is God doing, here and now?”

In worship, we hear God’s story, then we ask,

“What can I do to respond to it all?”

Let us worship our moving, inspiring, with-us God.

Amen.

Moravian Birthday Hymn 447

With your presence, Lord our Head and Savior,

Bless them all, we humbly pray;

Our dear heavenly Father’s love and favor

Be their comfort everyday.

May God’s Spirit now in each proceeding

Favor them with God’s most gracious leading;

Thus shall they be truly blessed

Both in labor and in rest.

For the month of August our joyful noise offering will be going to The Wildlands Conservancy! The mission of Wildlands Conservancy is to protect and restore critical natural areas and waterways, and educate the community to create a legacy of a healthy, sustainable, environment for future generations.

As reminder, there are several different ways to give your offerings here at Calvary.

1. Bring your offering to Sunday worship.
2. Mail your offering to the church office at 948 N. 21st Street, Allentown, PA 18104.
3. Use your bank’s “BILL PAY” service. A one-time or recurring payment can be made by a bank on your behalf. Banks that offer this service typically cut a check and mail it to the church at no cost to you. Contact your bank for details. The bank usually asks for an account number. Just call Calvary office beforehand and Jess will supply an account number to you or just use your envelope number.
4. Make an online payment through the Moravian Giving Portal – https://mmfa.info/giving-portal/. Go to this link, click on our church’s name and follow the instructions to make a one-time gift or a recurring monthly gift. Donations can be made by members and non-members via direct debit of a bank account or by credit card. All donation processing fees for portal gifts are now paid by the Moravian Ministries Foundation – your full donation will be received by your church.
