• Students will turn in their iPADs Wednesday, May 20th. They will NOT turn in their chargers if they are a 6th/7th grader, 8th graders will turn in chargers.
• CMS Staff Appreciation Week: May 4th-8th We would love to have students write their staff members notes as tokens of appreciation.
• 6th Grade Field Trip: CMS families,

  Your student will have the opportunity to participate in a field trip to Cedar Mountain on May 11 lasting about three hours. Students will participate in hands-on, inquiry-based activities that deepen their understanding of Earth's processes, geologic history, and fossil evidence. This field experience connects classroom learning to real-world scientific observation and investigation.

  Your student will be receiving a permission form with detailed information about the trip on Monday in their science class. Please sign this permission form and return it with your student at your earliest convenience.

Talent Show Auditions

Auditions will be held May 11–12 during 14th/15th hour in the Auditorium. Students must complete the form for their preferred day. If you are absent, see Ms. Million or Mrs. White to arrange another time.

Acts should be performance-ready with all materials prepared.

Deadline: Forms are due Thursday, May 7 at noon.
Students will be notified by May 14 if selected. Rehearsals will be May 18–19 after school until 5:30 PM.

CMS is in the 5th round of school wide intervention and enrichment support. Students progress toward math and reading goals, as well as other academic data, will be used to determine next steps for all students.
