Principal's Message
Allergy Aware School Reminder
We would like to remind families that St Anthony's is an allergy aware school and we request that peanut butter, nutella and nuts are not included in your child’s lunch.
Afternoon Pick-Up
Thank you to the parents who clearly display their family name on the car to assist the quick flow of traffic in both car parks. If your family name is not clearly displayed, please ensure this is done ASAP as it will help us with traffic management. If you have misplaced your family name sign, please contact Gill in the office and she will make a new sign for your car.
I also ask for your patience in the afternoons, particularly in the church car park. Every effort is made by staff to have traffic move quickly; however, holdups occur when children do not listen for their name or do not respond quickly and move to the gate. On occasion we have been calling for children only to find they were in OSH and parents had forgotten.
Please also remember that it is against the Traffic Code to enter a roundabout unless you can exit it immediately.
In anticipation – thank you.
Therese Bandy
Principal

Faith In Action
Joseph was a godly man who lived as Jesus' earthly father. When Jesus was a child, Joseph cared for him and loved him. A godly father loves and protects his family and listens to his Father in heaven. We can show our dad that we love him every day by the things we do and the things we say.

The St Anthony’s Way:
Fosters Positive Relationships
As Father's Day approaches, we take a moment to reflect on the values that make St Anthony's community special. The St Anthony's Way is not just a motto, but a commitment to fostering positive relationships within our school and beyond.
One vital aspect of the St Anthony's Way is the emphasis on nurturing strong bonds between parents, the school, and the wider community. We believe that active parental involvement greatly enriches a child's educational journey. This Father's Day let's celebrate fathers who embody this spirit – dads who consistently engage with our school events, support their children's growth, and actively participate in building a strong, inclusive community.
Through your involvement, you demonstrate to your children the importance of collaboration, empathy, and unity. You model the values that we aim to instill in our students, showing them the significance of positive relationships. This Father's Day, let's applaud those who exemplify the St Anthony's Way, enriching the lives of their children and our community.
Happy Father's Day!
Art News
Hi everyone!
We have been very busy in Art with not just our regular program but extra-curricular projects too!
19 Year 6 students entered the Catholic Earthcare Australia Season of Creation Art Competition. The students responded to the theme ‘Let Justice and Peace Flow’. Their artwork has been uploaded to Catholic Earthcare Australia’s Facebook page where the ‘People’s Choice Award’ will be chosen by the public ‘liking’ their favourite artwork. Please head on over to the Catholic Earthcare Australia Facebook Page and ‘like’ the St Anthony’s students' artwork.
In other Art news, this semester sees the students learning about some contemporary artists and incorporating the art processes of collage and painting into artworks of their own, inspired by these artists.
Year 2 – Pete Cromer, Contemporary Australian Collage Artist.
Year 3 – Andrea Smith, Contemporary Australian Collage Artist.
Year 4 – Emma Whitelaw, Contemporary Australian Artist.
Year 5 – CJ Dixon, Contemporary Australian Artist.
