November SSMS PTA Updates:

  • Have you shared our PTA fundraiser with family and friends? Please do! This is the last week to reach our goal of $35,000 by November 8th to support our students and staff throughout the year. Donate now to ensure we don’t need a spring fundraiser and every dollar goes to SSMS. Remember to take advantage of your company’s matching grant program to double your impact! Thank you for your support - it’s tax deductible and your contribution makes a huge difference! Please Donate Here!

  • Have your students been talking about the Quarter Wars?? Send that loose change to school with them because the winning grade level will receive a prize, and all funds will go toward our fun school wide spring event!

  • Did you know SSMS PTA was awarded the designation of National PTA School of Excellence? We are proud of our community and are reapplying this year, and the first step is collecting your feedback! Please complete this quick survey by Friday, Nov. 8.

  • Calling all creators of tomorrow! PTA Reflections is open and ready to see your original work that interprets the 2024-25 PTA Reflections theme: Accepting Imperfection. Please check with the front office or our LinkTree to enter! Entries are due November 8!

  • Friday, November 15th is our next PTA General Membership meeting at 8:15AM. Janel Rodriguez, who founded Forever 15 Project after losing her son to an accidental Fentanyl overdose, will be our guest speaker. Her impactful story, Fentanyl: The Noah Rodriguez Story, is important to hear so you can be informed. This was one of our best attended meetings last year, so please be sure to RSVP to have your badge pre-printed, or allow time for an ID scan if this is your first time on campus. You can also let your voice be heard by suggesting future PTA Meeting Topic Ideas that you'd like to learn more about. RSVP for the meeting and suggest topics through our SSMS PTA Linktree: https://linktr.ee/SSMSPTA

  • If you haven’t joined PTA yet, we welcome you to support SSMS students and staff! The Yeti membership drawing will happen at the November meeting! Please share ideas, concerns, and experiences to make the school year better for everyone. Go to joinpta.org to join.
