JSC Fall Book Fair
Dear Families:
Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way! Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them on their journey to becoming lifelong readers. As always—every purchase at the Fair benefits our school. Here’s what you need to know about the big event, which will take place from November 6th (during conferences) through November 10th. Students will have an opportunity to shop with their classrooms – classroom shopping schedule below.
Our book fair will accept cash, credit cards, and eWallet—your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Anyone can contribute! Share each child’s eWallet so friends and family can add funds and give your kids more books to enjoy.
If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Book Fair online. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Every online purchase will also benefit our school.
Visit our Book Fair homepage for more information and get started with eWallet and online shopping:

JSC Halloween Parade
JSC had the best Red Ribbon Spirit Week! The week's festivities ended with our annual Fall Halloween Parade. Check out the videos below! Tune in next week for more photos from Red Ribbon Spirit Week!
Kitchen Table Science
Students in Miss Earlley’s intervention class have been reading a book called “Kitchen Table Science”. Students learned about four different experiments that they could try at home in this book and enjoyed conducting “The Musical Glasses” experiment in the classroom! They filled up glasses of water, measured the water, and tapped the sides of the glasses to hear the different pitches. The more water in the glass, the lower the note you hear when tapping it with the metal spoon!
