Principal's Message
Hi Everyone,
Happy Teacher Appreciation week! Silver Star is very lucky to have such a passionate, dedicated, talented (I could go on and on) group of teachers. I am in awe of the lengths you will go for the well-being of our kids. I appreciate you all!
It is bittersweet that I announce Kathy Dimaya will be moving on to a new chapter in her career. She is going to be joining the Special Education team at Orchards Elementary. Kathy: Your patience, love, and unwavering dedication to our kids will very much be missed by staff and students alike. Thank you for all your hard work and we all wish you the very best in your new endeavor.
Please continue to work on student placement cards. They should be completed by Thursday, May 15th so we can start working on placement.

Kudos & Celebrations
Kudos to Mrs. Standish for stepping up and helping to coordinate field day.
Kudos to Mr. Bice for volunteering to run the bull horn for field day.
Kudos to Emily for jumping in with both feet and supporting Silver Star students.
Kudos to the Dream Team for collaborating with me on SIP goals and commitments for next year. (That was a long meeting.)
Kudos to Mr. Sterling and the events team for coordinating our annual STEAM fair.
Kudos to all the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade teachers for persevering through testing season (I know it's grueling. Hang in there.)
Kudos to Sandy for the AMAZING bulletin boards. You are so talented!
