Guide to Twitter

Things to keep in mind when you compose a tweet.

What is the purpose?
Who is your audience?
Use hashtags (#WeAreAldine) and other users' twitter handles (@AldineProfLearn) when appropriate
Proofread! You can't edit a tweet after it is posted!

Photo and Internet Permissions

Before you tweet that great picture of your class, do you know if your student(s) have permission to be photographed? Do you know if they can even be online (Internet restrictions)? All teachers now can access their student lists to see who can and can’t be photographed or online.

Follow these directions to complete the search in eSchool!

eSchool on mobile

FYI- We have reached out to eSchool about teachers no longer being able to access TAC on their phones after the latest upgrade (it loads a blank white screen). eSchool's response is that TAC is not supported on phones and teachers should use desktop computers, laptops, or iPads to access TAC. You may hear of this issue from coaches and teachers that were accustomed to taking attendance on their phones. Submitting a district helpdesk ticket will not result in a resolution and there is no current eta on support for phone access to TAC.

Software Center

Teachers can download ActiveInspire (and other updates) to the Promethean Boards and teacher computers without admin rights! This is also where Tech Services will start storing those pesky updates that pop up on our devices.
