New Buffalo Elementary School is ranked #34 in Michigan Elementary Schools by U.S. News & World Report for 2026. This ranking is out of 1,475 elementary schools in Michigan that were ranked by U.S news.

This week students learned about Martin Luther King. In PreK they learned about being peacemakers or peacebreakers. Scholastic news taught our kindergartners about working together in peace. Our 3rd graders learned about how Martin Luther King stood up for justice and then wrote about a time they stood up for something or what they do if they had a chance to.
