The Byron Buzz
News from BearNation: March 9
Finals Week, Spring Break, and Looking Ahead
As we approach the final stretch of the third quarter, we want to remind everyone that next week is Finals Week! This marks the end of the quarter, and we encourage students to stay focused and finish strong.
Following finals, Spring Break will take place from March 14-23. This is a wonderful opportunity for students and families to unwind, step away from the school routine, and create meaningful experiences—whether traveling or simply enjoying time together at home.
When we return from break, our students will enter State Testing season, which can sometimes bring added stress. While we want all students to put forth their best effort, we also recognize that testing is just one small snapshot of their learning. Education goes beyond Math, Reading, and Science as it’s also about personal growth, creativity, and critical thinking, Byron's Profile of a Graduate.
As parents, you can support your child by encouraging them to do their best, ensuring they get plenty of rest and a good breakfast, and most importantly, reminding them that you love them. No matter their age, your words of encouragement make a difference!
We hope you have a wonderful Spring Break filled with rest and family time. Due to the break, The Buzz will not be sent out next weekend, but we will resume on March 23.
Go Bears!
