Welcome Back, Conway School!

It is my sincere hope that you all were able to find joy and rest over the winter break. It is always nice to take time together but I also hope you're excited to be back! Getting back to a routine can sometimes be a challenge. Here are some things to consider to make things smooth for your student and family.

* Stay hydrated! Send students with a water bottle to school.

* Reasonable bed time and routine. 8-10 hours is so important to take care of our bodies. This also helps make morning routines smoother so your student is on time to school.

* Connect with your student's teacher! Check in and communicate, they want to partner with you!

Important Reminders for School...

  • Tuesday-Friday, school campus is open to students starting at 8 AM and school starts at 8:30 AM. Monday's, drop off begins at 9:15 AM and school starts at 9:45 AM.

  • It is very important when dropping students off that they exit your vehicle along the curb and not into the driveway. Per our safety policy, please remember that only preschool parents are permitted on campus at drop off and pick up.

  • If you are planning to miss school for more than two consecutive days, please remember that a planned absence form is required to be excused. This can be found on our website or in our main school office.

  • Our wonderfully supportive PTO has some fun family events planned! Please look for information regarding The Reptile Man coming soon!

A 4th Grader's Perspective By Taylor Martini

Hey Conway students and Conway! My name is Taylor Martini and l am in 4th grade at Conway Elementary school 317. And for school history, yes, a student is writing an article in the newsletter! I love dogs and I am very happy that Zury is at school and art and roller skating. I love roller skating because in October we had a skate party and I tried roller skating for the first time. It was actually pretty fun falling! Also in October we had a halloween parade and a wellness night ( which I didn’t go to) and recently we had a Veterans day assembly. My dad is a veteran but he didn’t come. You may have seen him on the slideshow. And some stuff I’m looking for further in the school year is field day and the talent show. That’s it for now, I hope I get to write in this soon. Bye!
