A Message from Ms. Peterson
Hello MCP3 Families,
As we are halfway through the week before Spring Break, we want to take a moment to thank you for your continued partnership and support. With the changing of the seasons, we are enjoying signs of spring all around us—longer days, fresh air, and new growth—which bring a renewed sense of energy and excitement to our classrooms. Our scholars have enjoyed getting to go outside more- please be sure to dress them appropriately to do so!
Our classrooms continue to be filled with learning, joy, and meaningful experiences each day because of our strong school-family connection. Thank you for being committed to your child's education and I hope your family enjoys a safe, relaxing, and refreshing Spring Break next week!

Week of the Young Child
Each April, the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) invites educators, families, and communities to come together for the Week of the Young Child® (WOYC)—a joyful celebration of early learning, young children, and the adults who support them. Through themed days like Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, and Artsy Thursday, WOYC highlights the critical role of play, creativity, and collaboration in a child’s development. WOYC is April 11-17, 2026! This year is extra special as it is the 100th year of NAEYC and the 55th anniversary of Week of the Young Child.
