RPMS Athletics Newsletter
Week of March 15th - March 21st
Message from the Athletic Director
Hello, Rockets!
I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Congrats to our RPMS Wrestling Program, who had a 2nd place finish at the county wrestling tournament this past weekend.
To reiterate last week's newsletter, Spring sports are quickly approaching! If you are interested in participating in Track and Field, please head over to Final Forms to register. All club sports (Tennis, Lacrosse, Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Soccer, and Golf) information can be accessed through their team pages.
As we finish the 3rd marking period this week, I encourage you to strive for excellence by competing in the classroom and on the playing surface. Continue to monitor communication from the coaching staff, and feel free to reach out to the main office or coaches with any questions. Have a great week and GO ROCKETS! π
Sincerely,
Mr. Riley

3.15.2026 RPMS Track and Field Message to Families
Hello Families,
Middle School Track Practice starts tomorrow, Monday, March 16, 2026. The weather is anticipated to be cold, windy and a wintery mix for the next few days. We will start practice this week at Reeths-Puffer Intermediate School starting at 3:00 pm. Parents please pick up your kids at 5:00 pm at Reeths-Puffer Intermediate in the front lot.
Students from the Middle School will ride their assigned bus to the High School and then walk the path behind the High School along the fence of the Meijer Trail over to Reeths-Puffer Intermediate. Students Please come in through the front entrance and come to the gym.
Sixth grade students participating in track will come down to the gym after school on Monday and Tuesday. Do not ride a bus over to the high school. You all should have gym shoes and workout clothes for practice Monday and Tuesday.
We hope to get outside by Wednesday. With that being said, please make sure you dress for colder weather. Hats, gloves, sweatshirts, long-sleeve shirts, and pants are strongly recommended. Track spikes are not needed during this first week, and they aren't needed to train in daily as the season continues.
Transportation to Practice
Students should take their assigned bus to the high school after school.
RPMS students may ride their assigned bus or Bus #7776.
RPI students may ride their assigned bus or Bus #7719.
Please note that 6th grade students are not permitted to walk to the high school for practice.
Required Participation Forms
Before an athlete can participate in practice, the following must be completed:
A current sports physical on file with the school
Final Forms registration completed and signed
We are looking forward to getting started tomorrow and helping develop our athletes to perform at their best level and build teamwork. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
Thank you,
Coach Rachel Kent
