Happy Sunday Wise Owl Families!

We are entering the final quarter of the 2023-24 school year. As we approach the final stretch of the academic year, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your unwavering support and dedication to your child's education. The journey we've embarked on together this year has been filled with its share of challenges and triumphs, but through it all, your commitment to your child's success has been truly inspiring.

As we enter this crucial phase of the school year, I urge you to join me in reinforcing the importance of finishing strong. The end of the year may seem distant, but every moment counts, and now is the time to redouble our efforts and push forward with determination and resilience.

Here are a few ways you can help your child finish the year on a high note and stay involved in their academic journey:

  1. Encourage Consistency: Help your child establish a consistent routine for studying and completing assignments. Consistency is key to maintaining momentum and achieving academic success.

  2. Provide Support: Be available to provide guidance and support whenever your child encounters difficulties or challenges. Your encouragement and reassurance can make a world of difference.

  3. Set Realistic Goals: Sit down with your child and set realistic goals for the remainder of the school year. Break these goals down into manageable tasks and celebrate their achievements along the way.

  4. Stay Informed: Stay informed about your child's progress in school by regularly communicating with their teachers and monitoring their academic performance. This will allow you to identify any areas that may need extra attention.

  5. Celebrate Achievements: Take the time to celebrate your child's achievements, no matter how small. Acknowledge their hard work and perseverance, and let them know how proud you are of their progress.

  6. Lead by Example: Be a positive role model for your child by demonstrating the value of education and lifelong learning. Show them that you believe in the importance of finishing what you start and always striving for excellence.

Remember, we are a team, and together, we can empower our students to reach their full potential. Let's work hand in hand to ensure that every child finishes the year strong and with a sense of accomplishment.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Here's to a successful end to the school year!

Perseverance Perseverance

Character Word of the Month

Every month WES students will learn about a character word. This month, the word of the month is Perseverance.

Perseverance -- being persistent in one's efforts to accomplish a purpose or goal despite difficulty or obstacles; willingness to try again despite mistakes and failures.

Share with your child what perseverance means to you and ask them how they have had to persevere.
