DFP Family Update

Dear Feeney Families,
Thank you to all who joined us for our Open House! It was wonderful to welcome you into the classrooms and share a glimpse of your child’s preschool experience.
We have also been practicing important skills like counting and turn taking, both during play and in small group activities. These moments help children build early math understanding and strengthen their social skills as friends and classmates.
We are looking forward to another joyful week of learning together!

DFP School Governance Council - Parents/Caregivers Needed!
If you are interested in joining our School Governance Council or would like to learn more about it, please contact Julie Martin. The School Governance Committee meets monthly to discuss our School Improvement Plan and goals for this school year. More information can be found HERE.
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 7:55 am.
If you are interested but unable to join in person, we can accommodate this using Google Meet.
Lunch
If your child attends a full-day program, lunch is available through our Nutrition Department at no cost.
HERE is the link to the menu. If you plan to get lunch through school every day, it would be helpful to email the teacher in advance with your selections.
Fall Picture Day Thursday, October 9
DFP picture day is on October 9. Information will be sent home next week.
