Superintendent Update
Windham School District | November

Friday, March 29, 2024
Dear Parents/Guardians:
I can’t believe that we have reached the end of March already. Outstanding achievements have marked this past month, all a testament to our shared educational mission and commitment. The exceptional efforts of our dedicated staff and talented students in the production of Les Misérables showcased the vibrancy of our arts community. I am also delighted to share the high school robotics team's recent success, which scored two big wins. These examples showcase just a few ways our students thrive and receive hands-on experience in an ever-changing world. Below are a few additional highlights for this week.
WHS Robotics: On back-to-back weekends, the Windham Windup, WHS’ Robotics team, won both events and, during the playoffs, set the fourth-highest score of any event played this season. The students also received the Autonomous Award for their software and the Gracious Professionalism Award for Windham's support at events to help other teams with parts and technical support. Heading into the New England Championship next week, the team again ranks well among the world's top-tier robotics programs.
Summer Camps: The school district will provide an array of camps and academic programs this summer. Details for registration, activities, and locations will be available in mid-April. Below are the weeks of the WSD Summer Camps. The camps will run Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during the following weeks.

Join our Team: We are actively recruiting and hiring for the 2024-25 school year. If you are interested or know someone who would be a great candidate, please visit our website to view the available opportunities.
Solar Eclipse Preparation: On April 8th, there will be a total solar eclipse, and the area of totality will pass through New Hampshire. The next time this will happen is in 2079. The Windham School District will provide solar viewing glasses for all staff and students to prepare for this event. Keep an eye out for additional information next week!
Keep up the fantastic work, Windham. There is still plenty of time left in the year for everyone to shine. I look forward to seeing more personal and educational growth from our students and staff.
Warm Regards,
Dr. Kori Alice Becht
