Crandall ISD Unites Over 60 Voices to Shape Tomorrow, Today! 🤝
Crandall ISD recently convened over 60 students, parents, educators, community members, and leaders to shape the district’s future through the 2025-2030 Strategic Planning Committee. Over two days, members collaborated to refine the district’s mission and set strategic objectives for academic excellence, inclusivity, and community engagement.
“This was an incredible opportunity to ensure every decision is student-focused,” said Superintendent Dr. Murry. With the foundation set, action committees will now develop plans to bring these goals to life. Watch the video here: YouTube Link.
Facility Naming Proposal 🏫
Crandall ISD accepts naming submissions for its facilities year-round. Any member of the public can propose a name for consideration by the district and its school board.
A district facility can include – but is not limited to – a building, school, other structure, or part of a building or complex including the grounds, the library, the auditorium, or athletic fields. The district facility can be new, existing or proposed.
All proposed names will be submitted to the superintendent, who will share recommendations with the Board of Trustees.
Submit a name for consideration to www.crandall-isd.net/naming
Crandall ISD Board Approves 2025-26 School Year Calendar
The Crandall ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2025-26 school year calendar. This decision follows a district-wide survey sent out in early January, where staff and community members selected the approved calendar as the preferred choice among three options.
Key Features of the 2025-26 Calendar:
- Spring Break: March 16-20, 2026
- Start Date: Wednesday, August 13, 2025
- Fall Break Included
- Exchange Days: 4
- Professional Development Days: 9
- Workdays: 8
- Additional Breaks: Labor Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, and Good Friday
randall ISD appreciates the participation of staff and community members in the calendar selection process, ensuring a schedule that best supports students, families, and educators.
