FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Patriot families,
We are quickly approaching the end of another school year. I find it hard to believe how fast it has passed. It seems with each passing year the expectations of our students increase dramatically. I truly believe our students and staff have worked hard this year. Because of this, I am assured our students will meet (or exceed) our school improvement goals.
The week of May 4th is Staff Appreciation Week! It is a time to thank our teachers, staff, paraprofessionals, custodial, secretaries, specialists, and all others who dedicate their time to educating and supporting children each day. The Patriot School Family is a dedicated team, focused on helping students achieve and building strong relationships. Thank you to the PTO, and the Sunshine Committee for joining the Administrative Team in putting together a week full of treats to celebrate the staff!
As we approach summer, we hope your families are able to take a true break, rest, restore, and safely connect with your loved ones.
Have a wonderful and safe summer!
Mrs. Feliciano

- On the morning of the test, your child needs to get up in plenty of time, so he/she won't feel rushed.

FROM THE SCHOOL NURSE
We hope you all have an incredible HAPPY, HEALTHY and SAFE Summer!! Summer can be such a fun time to make sweet memories and spend time with family and friends! It’s a fun season, but it can also open potential dangers for children of all ages. Here are summertime tips to keep everyone safe.
· Wear a helmet! Every bike ride, every time!
· Use Sunscreen! Apply at least SPF 30, 30 minutes prior to going outside.
· Life jackets on Boats, even for strong swimmers!
· Hike, Bike, Swim, Explore! But always with a friend and never alone.
· Beat the heat! Drink water, wear hats, and seek shade.
End of Year Reminder: If your student has medication in the clinic, please remember to pick it up prior to the last day of school. We cannot keep medications at school over the summer.
2026/2027 School Year
If your student requires medications to be given during next school year, please obtain a new order from your student’s provider. Our medication forms are on The School District of Lee County website under parent portal and medications in school. The orders can be faxed to the school at (239) 242-1238 or brought in with the medication. Students cannot bring in their own medications. This would need to be brought in by an adult and medication consents signed. The medication will need to be in the original bottle/box and within date. Medications can be brought in during open house.
Just a friendly reminder that school clinics do not have any type of pain medications, cold/cough medications, cough drops, or a stock asthma inhaler. We cannot give out any type of medication without a provider order even if it is over the counter.
Every new school year parents/guardians need to consent for students to access the clinic. Please sign the consents in FOCUS and update any health conditions/allergies that your student has so we may treat them properly. Also, please update any phone numbers or add new emergency contacts to the list for us to be able to contact someone if your student is in the clinic.
We always love and appreciate your donated clothes! At this time, we are only accepting bottoms for those little accidents that may happen during the day. Please keep us in mind when clearing out your student’s closets this summer! 😊

SAFETY / SEGURIDAD
The school will conduct safety drills each month that the school is in session. We want each student to understand and be aware of the importance of these drills and not be afraid when the alarm is sounded. By practicing they will know what to do and how to do it.
If you have any questions regarding any of these Safety Drills or other safety concerns, please contact the front office at 239-242-1023
