Notes from Toby
Thank you so much for your incredible teamwork and support during this morning’s Counselors' Breakfast! Your collaboration and dedication helped make the event a great success, and I truly believe it gave our sending schools a glimpse into the awesomeness happening at Francis Tuttle.
I’m so grateful for each of you! Thank you again for making it all come together so smoothly!
Thank you, Dawn, for your leadership in this event!!
I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Updates:
Wester Heights Career Experience!!
Cookie Judging!!
Be on the lookout for cookies over the next two weeks in the RK Breakroom! My wife is going to make her top 4 cookie recipes for us to judge over the next 2 weeks! I will have a rubric for you to judge if you would like to participate. I will send out emails on Cookie Days. We can settle the long-standing debate in the Blair household of what cookie reigns supreme!!
AccuPlacer
We have had 4-5 customers directed to take the AccuPlacer recently that might have been able to take a different path. Therefore, I wanted to send a quick reminder of the question on the Adult App that says "Identify the required academic/testing document that you plan to provide." This gives a list of items that can be used instead of the AccuPlacer and therefore need to be asked/discussed with the customer.
Examples:
Have you taken the AccuPlacer with/in the last two years?
Do you have a High School Transcript (must include SAT/ACT scores) to provide?
Do you have a College Transcript to provide?
Do you have SAT/ACT scores to provide?
I hope this is a helpful reminder and please let me know if you have any questions!
United Way
A few key points from the District Email:
When you click on the link, you will have several choices. The preferred method is through payroll deduction, however, if you wish to fill out a paper pledge, write a check or contribute with a debit/credit card, you will have those options as well. If you do wish to write a check, make it out to United Way and bring it to the payroll office.
Whether or not you currently contribute through payroll deduction, to contribute in 2026, you must complete a new pledge. This can be done electronically using the link provided. We do have a few paper pledge forms available. If you need a paper form, please let me know and I will send one your way.
When you elect to contribute through payroll deduction, you can elect to make a one-time contribution or a monthly contribution. If you elect a monthly contribution, the 12 contributions will take place January-December 2026.
A few milestones along the way since 1999, the first year from which we have records.
