Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week

Next week, we’re celebrating the people who make our school shine — our incredible teachers and staff! Their dedication, passion, and care help our students grow, thrive, and shine brighter every single day, both in and out of the classroom.

Below is the plan for the week, filled with fun events and simple ways your family can join in and help us celebrate this amazing team.

Let’s come together to shine a light on all they do and show them just how much they mean to our community!

We need YOUR help to celebrate the people who make our school shine!

As a heartfelt THANK YOU from the entire Bateman community, we’re raising funds to provide every teacher and staff member with a special gift card — a small gesture to recognize the incredible impact they make each and every day.

This is our chance to shine a light on everyone who helps our school sparkle — not just our amazing teachers, but also our custodians, lunch staff, security team, classroom aides, SECAs, clerks, therapists, nurses, and all of our dedicated support staff.

That’s 126 brilliant individuals who guide, support, and care for our favorite little humans!

Thanks to everyone who helped us get off to a bright start at the Spring Fling Wine Pull — but we need our whole community to come together to help us shine even brighter!

Let’s shine a light on our incredible Bateman team — please donate today!

We’re stocking the Teacher Lounges and Lactation Room for Appreciation Week — and we need your help to keep our Bateman team energized and shining bright!

We’re looking to fill the lounges with everyday essentials like coffee, snacks, and supplies — and we’re counting on our community to make it happen.

The easiest way to help? Order directly from our Amazon Wish List (link below) and ship items straight to school.

You can also donate items like:
☕ Coffee or Tea K-Cups
🍬 Sugar, Creamers
🍿 Snacks (bars, chips, nuts, etc.)
🎯 Microwaveable Popcorn
🧻 Paper Goods
🍴 Plastic Utensils
📄 Reams of Paper

We’re aiming to fully stock the lounges before the week begins — every order makes an immediate impact.

Let’s come together to make sure our teachers and staff feel supported, appreciated, and ready to shine all week long!

We’re getting everything ready for Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week — but we can’t make it shine without you!

We still need volunteers throughout the week to help bring it all together and make sure every moment feels special for our incredible team.

Here’s where we need your help:

Monday Morning: Kick things off by bringing breakfast treats
Tuesday Morning: Bring flowers so every student can brighten their teacher’s day
Wednesday Lunch: Help serve and support lunchtime
Wednesday Late Afternoon: Help clean and restock the staff lounges

These are quick, high-impact ways to show appreciation — and spots are filling fast.

Please sign up below and jump in where you can. Every volunteer helps make this week truly shine!

Here's a special Thank You Printable for your child to fill out and give to their amazing teacher(s) next Thursday, May 7th.

It’s a fun and meaningful way to show a little extra love and appreciation — feel free to print and personalize as needed!

Let’s make sure every Bateman teacher feels seen, celebrated, and shining bright!
