Learwood Middle School
First Week Back
Learwood Families,
We had an excellent start to the year! On our first day we held “Town Hall Meetings” for each grade where information and discussion were shared on our operations, rules, reminders, and introductions to the supporting staff members in the building including our SRO Officer Weissinger. Additionally, we visited each lunch period to talk about expectations and the operations of the lunch period. Overall students did a wonderful job listening and committing to making this a great year at Learwood.
Fire Drill
Today we held our first fire drill. ALPD personnel were on site to observe the process and debrief with administrators. The drill was a success.

FinalForms
Please Use FinalForms Email to Create Account and Complete Forms
Avon Lake City Schools has moved to FinalForms, a new online system that will make completing back‑to‑school forms more efficient in the future. This will take the place of the PowerSchool process used in past years.
Families should have received a confirmation email from FinalForms with a link to create your account. Once you’re set up, you can review our 26–27 Back‑to‑School Forms flyer. Completion of these Forms were due August 3, and completing them ensures we have accurate medical information, updated emergency contacts, and your yearly permissions for district policies. If you have not already done so, please complete at this time.
Any questions can be directed to Theresa Martin, District Registrar, at 440-933-0984. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
