Dear AAK Families,

We are excited to share that we are in conversations with Blueprint, a non-profit organization
that supports charter schools in expanding and purchasing facilities, regarding the potential
purchase of our entire building. While nothing is finalized at this time, we have been working
diligently to make this opportunity a reality.

At this stage, we do not expect to have definitive information for at least 60 days. However, we
remain committed to keeping you informed throughout this process and will share updates as
soon as they become available.

With this expansion, we plan to increase our enrollment and enhance our playground
space, providing even greater opportunities for our students. As many of you know, our families
are our strongest advocates in growing our school community. We encourage you to share the
great things happening at AAK with friends and family who may be interested in joining us. As
enrollment increases, we will also be able to expand our program offerings and utilize additional
space on the second floor.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our school. We appreciate your
partnership and look forward to the exciting possibilities ahead!

Have a wonderful day!
Mrs. Schlagel-Hope

Our fourth and fifth graders have been working hard to create a play. They have written the lines in Expressions, composed the songs in Music, and created the scenery and props in Art. Now they are ready to present their masterpiece to you!

There will be a morning and an afternoon performance on Friday, April 4th. Stay tuned for exact times and more information!

As of November 1st, enrollment opens for new families for the 2025-2026 school year! Your voice is our strongest advocate – more families discover us because of your support and stories than any other source. So, help spread the word about the Best Kept Secret in Education: Academy of Arts and Knowledge (AAK)!

Here’s what makes AAK special and worth sharing with friends and neighbors:

• Award-Winning Excellence: AAK is a two-time Performance with Distinction School!

• Top Academic Performance: AAK’s 5th grade CMAS Scores have surpassed both PSD and TSD in ELA, Math, and Science for two consecutive years.

• Inclusive Environment: We serve a higher percentage of students with disabilities, ensuring every student is fully included in our vibrant school community, achieving greater academic growth than surrounding districts.

• Comprehensive Support for Families: We provide free before and after-school programs, along with free programming during school breaks, including summer.

• Enrichment for All Interests: AAK currently offers 20 diverse student clubs for learning, exploration, and growth!

Help us grow the AAK family by sharing these highlights with those seeking a well-rounded arts-integrated educational experience!
