A Message from Mr. Soltish about Conferences Next Week
To RMS Families,
It has been a great start to the year at RMS! Last Friday was the end of the first marking period and with that we are looking forward to our upcoming conferences. Student Progress Conferences will be held on Monday, November 25, and Tuesday, November 26. Conferences scheduled for the afternoon on 11/25 and 11/26 will be virtual, and all evening conferences on 11/25 will be in-person. Please note if you have extenuating circumstances and require accommodations to meet the teacher, please contact your student’s guidance counselor.
Our students will follow a half-day schedule on November 25th and November 26th. The early dismissal time for Rombout Middle School will be 11:10 AM. We will be serving lunch on both days at RMS.
Caregiver-Teacher afternoon conference times on Monday, November 25, and Tuesday, November 26, will be from 12:10pm until 2:50pm. (Afternoon conferences are virtual)
Caregiver-Teacher conference times on the evening of Monday, November 25, will be from 5pm until 8pm. (Evening conferences are in person)
As in years past, Rombout Middle School will be utilizing our Pick-a-Time system to schedule conferences.
The Pick-a-Time system will open to all RMS families beginning on Monday, November, 18th, 2024 at 6pm.
Sincerely,
Mr. Soltish

RMS Club News
1. November 21st - Foreign Language Club is meeting.
Fun in Ms. Winther's Class!
Faculty and Staff Recognition Form
Use the button below to fill out the form and a "Thankful" Certificate will be generated, printed, and given to that faculty/staff member! This can be for any adult in the building!
Scribing in Ms. Laderach's Classes
Mrs. Laderach’s social studies classes had a chance to experience what it may have been like to be a scribe in Mesopotamia. Students tried their hand at writing in cuneiform with a stylus on clay. Many found out it was much harder than anticipated, but still a lot of fun!
