Lutherville Lab Report
What's gone down & what's coming up at the leopards' lair.
October 13th, 2023
This week the second meeting of the Central Area Capacity Relief Boundary Study was held. The committee has reviewed 5 options to date. It is strongly recommended that all families stay up-to-date on the committee activity. Information can be found on the Boundary Study website, and at Fall Family Night the PTA will host a classroom where information will be provided and families can learn more about the process. All 5 options presented to the Committee to date have significant portions of the Lutherville student body being shifted to other schools.
We're happy to share that our appeal for additional club sponsor funding was approved and we have completed all the necessary paperwork for our clubs to launch. Some have done so this week, but it is not too late to get involved! Please see the attachment to this newsletter for descriptions of club offerings and contact information to get your child connected.
Finally, in light of the tragic global events that have unfolded this week, we also want to share a BCPS landing page for resources for supporting and talking with your child about the global crisis should the need arise.

Membership Drive
The Lutherville Lab PTA wants to thank each and every member for signing up for the 2023-2024 school year. This drive had an amazing turnout, and we truly appreciate the support everyone has shown. As a result of this drive, we have randomly selected three winners – each of whom will be able to select an item of Lutherville Lab SpiritWear as a thank you.
Our winners of the membership drive are:
Vincent D’Antonio
Sadie Peters
Ashley McKenzie
The PTA will reach out to our winners shortly to get them their prizes!
Thank you for your continued support!
