📣 Weekly Announcements & Reminders 💙

What a wonderful experience our 5th/6th graders had at Outdoor School last week! With beautiful weather, fun activities, and a strong spiritual emphasis, it was truly a special time for our students to learn, grow, and connect. We are so proud of how they represented BAS—our kids are truly something special!

This week brings an important focus as we begin MAP testing. We encourage all students to do their best and show what they have learned. Thank you for helping your child come prepared each day with good rest, a healthy breakfast, and a positive mindset.

We’re also looking forward to our Walkathon on Friday, which is always a fun and energetic way to come together as a school community. Make sure students are well rested and hydrated! We’re excited to see our students participate and enjoy the day!

Parent Partnership: Encouraging Confidence During Testing

During testing week, students benefit most from encouragement and reassurance. Remind your child that testing is simply a chance to show what they know—it’s not about being perfect, but about doing their best.

A calm and positive mindset can make a big difference. Thank you for supporting your student with encouragement, routine, and confidence this week!

Don't forget!

Students will be representing their classes by wearing their team colors for the Walkathon:

  • Baby Bobcats: Grey
  • PreK/K: Green
  • 1st/2nd: Red
  • 3rd/4th: Light Blue
  • 5th/6th: Tie-Dye
  • 7th/8th: Bobcat Blue (Royal Blue)

Please help your child come prepared for a great day outdoors by applying sunscreen, bringing a hat if desired, and staying well hydrated. We’re looking forward to a fun and energetic day!
