ID Requirement for All Visitors
For the safety of our students and staff, all adults entering the building must present a valid form of identification. Please ring the doorbell and hold your ID (such as a driver's license, state ID, or passport) up to the camera for verification. Once your ID is confirmed, the door will be unlocked for you. Upon entry, proceed directly to the front office to sign in. We appreciate your support and cooperation in helping us keep our campus safe and secure.
Principal's Corner
Dear Cielo Vista Families,
As we begin the month of February, we want to remind all our families how important it is for students to attend school every day. Consistent attendance helps our little Bobcats stay on track academically, build strong routines, and continue growing with confidence.
February will be a busy and exciting month on campus. Please mark your calendars for our Parent-Teacher Conferences. These conferences are a valuable opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher, review progress, and discuss goals for the remainder of the year. Your partnership makes a tremendous difference in your child’s success.
We also encourage you to continue working with your children at home reading together, practicing math facts, reviewing classwork, or simply talking about what they learned each day. Small moments of support go a long way in helping students thrive.
Finally, we are proud to share that Cielo Vista has been recognized as a Texas 2025 Honor Roll campus. This achievement reflects the dedication, passion, and hard work of our incredible teachers, staff, students, and families. Congratulations to our entire Cielo Vista community and thank you for everything you do to support our school.
Let’s make February a month full of learning, growth, and Bobcat pride.
With appreciation,
Maria Guerra
Principal

🩺 School Nurse Newsletter
Dear Parents and Guardians,
February is a busy month in the health office! Below are a few important reminders and simple tips to help keep our students healthy, happy, and ready to learn.
🤧 Cold & Flu Season
Winter illnesses are still common. Please keep your child home if they have:
A fever of 100.4°F or higher (students must be fever-free for 24 hours without medicine before returning)
Vomiting or diarrhea within the last 24 hours
Flu-like symptoms or a persistent cough
Good handwashing and staying home when sick help keep everyone healthy.
❤️ February Is Heart Health Month
February is American Heart Month! Encourage healthy habits at home by:
Staying active (even indoor play counts!)
Eating fruits and vegetables
Drinking water instead of sugary drinks
Getting plenty of sleep
Healthy habits now support growing bodies and minds.
Dress for the Weather
Please be sure your child comes to school dressed for cold weather, including a warm coat. We go outside when weather permits, and staying warm helps prevent illness.
💊 Medication at School
For student safety:
All medications must be brought to school by a parent or guardian
Medications must be in the original labeled container
Required medication forms must be on file in the nurse’s office
Thank you for your continued support in keeping our school healthy. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Warm regards,
Nurse Lisa
