Sam's Seeking Makeover Nominations

Two Springdale teachers to receive $10,000 giveaways

The Springdale Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Sam’s Furniture Home Makeover giveaways.

Whether you are a Springdale graduate, a current Springdale student or a fellow educator, we want your nominations!

Counselor Suzanne Cartwright of Jones Elementary School and teacher Angela Mankins of Kelly Middle School each received a $10,000 home makeover from Sam’s Furniture at the 2024 event.

"My heart is just so full," Cartwright said following the giveaway. "There's so many deserving people. I'm just so humbled that anybody would nominate me."

Nominees must be a current educator in the Springdale School District. Nominations must include the teacher’s impact in the classroom and community and will close July 17 at 3 p.m.

Home makeover recipients will be announced at the 58th Annual Springdale Chamber Teacher Appreciation Event in August.
